Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Califlo Plumbing is a family-owned, licensed plumbing company (CA License #1066333) serving San Diego and Riverside County.

Do you offer free estimates?

We explain your options and pricing clearly before any work begins, so you’re never surprised. Call (858) 231-0504 to discuss your project.

Do you handle both residential and commercial work?

How do I send photos of my issue?

Create a free account in our Customer Portal to upload photos, or attach them through the Partner With Us form. Photos help us prepare before we arrive.

Sewer & Plumbing Camera Inspection

What is a sewer camera inspection?

A waterproof, high-resolution camera on a flexible cable is fed through your sewer or drain line. We watch a live video feed of the inside of the pipe to identify clogs, root intrusion, cracks, corrosion, and low spots — pinpointing the exact location and cause.

When should I get one?

Before buying a home, before a remodel that ties into existing drains, after repeated or unexplained backups, if you have mature trees near the sewer line, or any time you want documented proof of pipe condition.

Do I get to see the video?

Yes — we show you the findings on screen and explain what they mean in plain language. A copy of the recording is available on request, which is useful for real-estate transactions and insurance.

Can a camera inspection prevent bigger costs?

Often, yes. Catching root intrusion, a small crack, or a developing belly early lets us recommend a targeted fix before it becomes a full line replacement or a sewage backup in your home.

Do you also locate the problem from above ground?

Yes. The camera transmits a signal we trace from the surface, so we can mark the exact depth and position of a problem — which keeps any required digging accurate and minimal.

Drain & Sewer Cleaning

Why does my drain keep clogging?

Repeat clogs usually mean buildup, a partial collapse, or root intrusion deeper in the line. A camera inspection shows exactly what’s happening so we can fix the cause, not just the symptom.

Do you use chemicals?

We avoid harsh drain chemicals that damage pipes. We clear lines mechanically with cabling or hydro jetting for a safer, longer-lasting result.

Can you clear a main sewer line?

Yes. We handle main-line backups and can hydro jet and camera-inspect the line to verify it’s fully clear.

Water Heater Repair & Installation

Should I repair or replace my water heater?

If the unit is past ~10 years, leaking from the tank, or needs a costly part, replacement is usually smarter. We give you an honest comparison so you can decide.

Is tankless worth it?

Tankless delivers endless hot water and saves space and energy, but sizing and gas/electric capacity matter. We’ll tell you if it’s a good fit for your home.

How long does installation take?

Most standard replacements are completed same-day. Tankless conversions can take longer depending on gas and venting requirements.

Leak Detection

How do I know if I have a hidden leak?

Common signs: an unexplained jump in your water bill, the sound of running water, warm spots on the floor, low pressure, or mold and mildew smells.

Will you have to break my floor or walls?

We locate the leak as precisely as possible first, so any access is targeted and minimal rather than guesswork demolition.

Can a slab leak be fixed without a full repipe?

Often yes — depending on the pipe’s condition we may spot-repair or reroute the affected line. We’ll explain the trade-offs.

Emergency Plumbing

How fast can you get here?

We prioritize active leaks and backups and dispatch as quickly as our schedule allows across San Diego and Riverside County. Call (858) 231-0504 and we’ll give you a realistic ETA.

What should I do before you arrive?

If water is flowing, shut off the nearest valve or your main water shut-off, and move valuables away from the water. If it’s a sewer backup, stop running water in the home.

Do you charge more for emergencies?

We explain any after-hours or priority pricing before we begin. No surprise charges — you approve the scope first.
